About Geek Office Solutions
Geek Office solutions has evolved from Geek Housecalls, which was started in 2001, supporting both residential and small businesses in MA, RI and NH, servicing over 20,000 families and 1000 small businesses, with a staff of 15 fulltime employees. From our beginning, many of our residential customers have asked us to also service them at their business. Based on that demand, Geek Officecalls was formed in 2005 to tailor services to meet the IT support needs of our small business customers.
In 2009, we changed the name of the Division from Geek Officecalls to Geek Office Solutions to better reflect the range and scope of our services. Our services range from responsive on-demand services, to one-time computer or network implementation projects to proactive managed support. Our premier service offering is our Virtual IT Dept. service, which is an all-inclusive maintenance plan offered at a fixed monthly cost targeted at organizations having between 5 to 100 computers. Our clients benefit by minimizing the cost and hassle involved with supporting their computers and IT infrastructure, so they can focus on managing and growing their businesses.

Dave Ehlke – CEO & President
Dave Ehlke is CEO & President. Dave has been an executive in the IT services industry, serving both large and small businesses for 30+ years, since starting his first IT services company in the 70s. He has always been at the forefront of the IT services industry advancements. Since founding Geek Housecalls, Inc. and then Geek Office Solutions LLC, Dave has focused on working closely with owners and executives of small businesses to advise them how to effectively use IT within their businesses to support their business goals and objectives.
Dave started his career at IBM as a Systems Engineer, co-founded Neoterics, an early pioneer in the IT services industry, merged with Computer Task Group, where, as Executive VP, led its growth from a $14M firm to a $250M+ firm in a 9 yr. period. Following that he held executive positions in Computer Corporation of America, Logica and CIBER. He founded Y2KPlus before starting Geek Housecalls and Geek Office Solutions.
Dave has a BS degree in Management Science and MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He lives with his wife Jane in Lexington, MA and enjoys traveling to visit their 5 children and 6 grandchildren.
Joe Santangelo Chief Operating Officer & Virtual CIO
Joe Santangelo is Chief Operating Officer for Geek Office Solutions and Virtual CIO for our Managed Services Virtual IT Dept. clients. Joe has over 20 years’ experience in the IT field in both large and small companies and both service and end user companies. Joe started as an EDP Auditor, then a Systems Analyst and project manager, then becoming a CIO/ Director of IT of Genrad, a Fortune 500 company- After that he served as IT director for a number of startups and small to medium sized organization, before founding his own IT consulting firm- Progressive Technology Partners. After successfully operating that company for 10+ years, he decided to merge his company with geek office solutions and become its Chief Operating Officer. At Geek Office Solutions, he is responsible for the successful delivery of IT services to our clients, and by acting as their virtual CIO , integrating Information technology with corporate strategy.
Joe has an undergraduate degree from SUNY- Binghamton and an MBA- Computer Information Science from Bentley University. Joe lives with his wife Caroline and his two children in Sudbury, MA.
